Lookup Table Manager

This tool is used to add, edit, or delete options in lookup tables.

Adding options to a lookup table

The following steps should be used to add options to a lookup table:

  1. Open Transparent Earth in a Chrome browser.
  2. Log into the TransparentEarth environment by entering your User ID and Password, and click Sign In.
  3. Click the Administration menu item to open the Administration menu.
  4. Select the Look Up Table Manager item to open the Look up Table Manager window.

  5. In the Select Lookup Category drop down menu, select the report type that you want to Add.
  6. In the Select Lookup Table dropdown, select the lookup table that you wish to edit.
  7. A table appears with Columns for Name and ToolTip Text.
  8. In the upper left of the table that appears, select the Add New button.

  9. A new row will appear at the bottom of the table. Add the information for the following fields:
    1. Name
    2. ToolTip Text
  10. When you are finished with the added row, press Update. The row will now be added to the table.

  11. Click the Close button to return to the main display.

 

Editing options in a lookup table

The following steps should be used to edit options in a lookup table:

  1. Open Transparent Earth in a Chrome browser.
  2. Log into the TransparentEarth environment by entering your User ID and Password, and click Sign In.
  3. Click the Administration menu item to open the Administration menu.
  4. Select the Look Up Table Manager item to open the Look up Table Manager window.

  5. In the Select Lookup Category drop down menu, select the report type that you wish to Edit.
  6. In the Select Lookup Table dropdown, select the lookup table that you wish to edit.
  7. A table appears with Columns for Name and ToolTip Text.
  8. Click the Edit button on the right side of the row that you wish to edit.

  9. You are now able to change the information for the following fields:
    1. Name
    2. ToolTip Text
  10. When you are finished with the added row, press Update. The row will now be added to the table.
  11. Click the Close button to return to the main display.

 

Deleting options in a lookup table

The following steps should be used to delete options to a lookup table:

  1. Open Transparent Earth in a Chrome browser.
  2. Log into the TransparentEarth environment by entering your User ID and Password, and click Sign In.
  3. Click the Administration menu item to open the Administration menu.
  4. Select the Look Up Table Manager item to open the Look up Table Manager window.

  5. In the Select Lookup Category drop down menu, select the report type that you wish to Edit.
  6. In the Select Lookup Table dropdown, select the lookup table that you wish to edit.
  7. A table appears with Columns for Name and ToolTip Text.
  8. Click the Delete button on the right side of the row that you wish to edit.
  9. A confirmation window will appear. Click Yes to Delete the row.
