Land - Land Project Configuration

The Land Module has a function to configure and administer each Land Project. This project configuration page identifies the basic details of the project and contains the default values that are to be used by other functions in the Land Module to perform calculations such as the acquisition and damages budget amounts.  This project configuration page will generally be created and maintained by the Land Module Administrator or a designate with creation and maintenance authorization.

 

Creating a Project

  1. Launch TransparentEarth. 
    TransparentEarth opens and the login screen displays.
  2. Enter the User ID and Password and click Sign In
    TransparentEarth opens providing the user a view of the map.
  3. Zoom to the desired map location.
  4. Select the Land icon in the TransparentEarth tool bar. 
    The land toolset opens in the upper left of the map.
  5. Select the Create Project Boundary icon. 
    The user is presented with the ability to draw the project bounds on the map using the mouse.
  6. Draw the project boundary on the map and double-click at the last point. 
    The user is able to draw the project boundary and open the Project Configuration dialog box.
  7. Complete all applicable project detail fields, using the scroll bar to access the entire dialog box.
  8. Click the Save button. 
    The user is presented with a confirmation message.
  9. Confirm the project creation by selecting the Yes button. 
    The user is presented with a confirmation message.
  10. Click the OK button. 
    The user is returned to the Land Project Configuration dialog box.
  11. Click the Close button. 
    The user is returned to map. 

Process Steps to Edit a Project

  1. On the left dashboard, click Land Projects, then click Land Project Configuration.
  2. Complete a Search at the bottom of the left dashboard.
  3. Select the Project to be opened, then click Edit Existing Project
    The Land Administration – Project Configuration workbench opens allowing you to create new and modify existing entries.
  4. Complete all applicable entries and click the Save button. 
    The user is presented with a message stating Update Form.
  5. Confirm the project creation by selecting the Yes button. 
    The user is presented with a confirmation message.
  6. Select the OK button to close the message. 
    The user is returned to the Land Project Configuration dialog box.
  7. Click the Close button. 
    The user is returned to the dashboard and map display and the new project appears in the project list.
